I have some training in Wilheim translation, but this one I could easyly understand becouse it uses ocidental references.

While Brian Browne Walkers version of the I Ching has been derided for being too dynamic in its translation, it is by far one of the most user friendly and accessible to Westerners Ive come across. I first read it while doing undergraduate work in the 90s, and as a scholar of World Lit, I can still recommend it, especially for those seeking a more devotional, as opposed to scholarly approach. The interface is beautiful: its lovely to have this old friend in such an easily accessible format. Well worth the money!

Visually stunning, insightful translation of the ancient classic. An essential app for the intuitive, those wise enough to respect more than the narrow limits of the scientific method.

Never would I believe an app could be so enlightening. The first toss of coins revealed what I did not want to consider. I did not toss coins of my own which is an option. This app is beautiful. Be open be aware and be the change. Worth the price.

By all means improve it if you can can .! Meanwhile my hands are full :)

This is a life changing translation. The app allows for Wisdom of the sage to be available any time and place. I use it daily to maintain equanimity and follow the path of the Sage. It has been an invaluable tool in my life and that of my family as well. I have the five book bundle and I resonate deeply with each level of translation. I am Very grateful to have these tools!

Some bad moments

The restore function is supposed to give the full content for free. It doesnt! Certain parts still need to be purchased??? This is misleading.

I find it very disapointing and limited. Definitely not worth €3.99!!!!!

I have no idea how people can get sucked into this crap! Do really think a reasonably thinker would consult I-Ching to make a business decision, relationship, buying a car, a house, where to live or maybe a General would use it to fight a war! This stuff is utter ignorance! Your mind is so powerful...use it and learn from your mistakes! Thats how one grows! Ive never known any successful person that used I-Ching for any decision! Id bet the guy who sells this book is broke! Use your own mind my friends! I use to believe in this garbage when I was a young fool! When I learn to use my mind thats when I succeeded... I retired at 42 and believe me it wasnt this garbage that carved a successful path! Not to mention Ive been married for 21 years because I learned from trial and error how to have a successful relationship! If you wanted to learn to golf would you consult I-Ching to teach you or find a golf instructor to teach you! Im positive you can answer that question correctly!

I refer to it every day. Its wisdom goes beyond religion, and encompasses all teachings from the various belief systems of east and west. This integration of truths gathered from all theses sources in one place can increase a persons wisdom in what used to take a lifetime now in less than half. We need more people to grasp the oneness of life and heal this broken planet. Be one with the Tao.

This is the best app Ive ever downloaded and is immensely useful and putting challenges of daily life into perspective

Unlike others here, I did NOT lose my journal entries with this update... And I want to thank the developer for going back to the original, much better UI. This applies across the board for all of BBWs beautiful apps. Thank you, this is now once again the best translation with the best presentation and UI. Highly recommended.
